Ending a Pregnancy after Prenatal Diagnosis

This information has been written to help parents who are considering a termination of pregnancy because an anomaly has been diagnosed in their baby.

Deciding to end a wanted pregnancy can feel very difficult and painful. This booklet provides sensitively written information and support for women and their partners who are faced with making a decision about the future of their pregnancy. It looks at what can be involved both practically and emotionally. It can also be a helpful source of information for those supporting the woman and her partner, whether they are healthcare professionals, family, friends or colleagues.

It is not an easy read, so do take it at your own pace and contact us at ARC if it raises any questions or concerns.

If you would like a hard copy of our handbook and have not received one from your hospital, please get in touch with ARC on 0207 713 7486 or info@arc-uk.org and we will provide you with a complimentary copy. We also have an audio version of this booklet, which can be listened to below.
